If you’re into homebrewing and 2-meters, ARRL’s VHF/UHF Antenna Classics is for you. Yes, the book touches upon 6 meters, 432 and 902 MHz as you can see in the photograph showing the Table of Contents. But the vast majority of attention is given to antennas for 2-meters. All kinds of antennas! There are about 20 projects devoted to 2 meters – from portable quads and beams for trail-friendly operation, fixed-station arrays, mobile antennas, dual-band J Poles and much more. Six meters has four projects, all of which sound very interesting. The book is in near-perfect condition. It contains articles that appeared in QST from 1980 to 2003. If you are just getting started on 2 meters or are an old hand looking for new ideas, VHF/UHF Antenna Classics may just be for you. By the way, $14.95 in 2003 U.S. dollars is worth almost $21 today. And remember, SHIPPING IS FREE.
