RSGB Desk Reference: 'Practical Wire Antennas 2' By G3YWK

17.00

If you’re looking for a great desk reference on wire antennas, look no farther than “Practical Wire Antennas 2” by Ian Poole, G3YWK. Its 172 pages offer practical advice for the radio amateur who wants to get out efficiently without having to invest a lot of money in commercially-made hardware. An accompanying photograph of the Table of Contents shows the book’s depth of coverage in a vast arena of designs, shapes and sizes. From the practical dipole and tuned feeder antenna configurations to loops, end-feds and verticals. You’ll also get a dose of antenna basics, antenna-matching systems and practical aspects of putting these designs into the sky. First published in 2005 by the Radio Society of Great Britain, this is a 2008 third printing. The previous owner dog-eared a couple of page corners – an obvious ploy to quickly find pages of particular interest. It is in otherwise excellent condition.
