Jerry Sevick, W2FMI (SK) has been widely regarded as one of the world's leading experts on amateur radio antenna system Baluns and Ununs. In "Building and Using Baluns and Ununs: Practical Designs for the Experimenter," he puts a lifetime of experience and study into the real-life challenge of obtaining antenna and transmission line efficiency. It is 125 pages. Sevick wrote an indepth series on baluns in Communications Quarterly magazine and multiple articles on Ununs and Baluns in CQ magazine. Information for his research in each area resulted in this book. It was published in 1994. "This book also contains in the appendixes some of my earlier work on ground systems and short verticals," Sevick wrote. The last appendix describes "my latest study on the ubiquitous loading coil." This copy is in excellent condition.
